Abstract

A theory is presented that explains the redshift of the spectra of distant stars not due to the scattering of galaxies, but due to the well-known decrease in the frequency of oscillations in systems with attenuation. As a result, the laser acts as an indicator of the attenuation of the frequency of light in space.
