Optical properties of single crystals of the AgBr-AgI system doped with Nd(III)

This work is devoted to the development and research of promising laser technology systems based on silver halide matrices doped with rare earth metal salts: neodymium chloride. The possibility of introducing an alloying additive by hydrochemical method was verified, evidence of the presence of a dopant in the structure of the material was proved by obtaining X-ray phase analysis spectra. Transmittances in the visible and infrared ranges were obtained, which make it possible to determine the range of finding the maximum possible concentration of the alloying additive.
